West Bengal is one of the poorest places in world with almost a third of population living below poverty line. Every year many die due to harsh winters. Basic amenities like warm water and blankets are not available for many.
We plan to distribute free blankets to needy poor and install a hot-water geyser in Kalitala – a poor village in Howrah district of West Bengal, India.
This will save thousands of valuable lives and help them survive the harshness of nature.
Just imagine what a small child or an old woman has to face in winter nights when they have hardly even full-sized thin clothings to cover their bodies in wide open. No heaters, no shelter, no sweaters, no blankets. Those who cannot face, die.
Lets prevent this loss. What we give, comes back to us. Lets help our brothers and sisters. All humans are our family members. How can we enjoy the warmth of heaters and jackets when our own family is shivering to death?
